Common use of Representatives in Meetings Clause in Contracts

Representatives in Meetings. In each step of the Grievance Procedure, certain specific representatives shall be given approval to attend the meetings therein prescribed. It is expected that, in the usual grievance these will be the only representatives in attendance at such meetings. However, it is understood by the parties that, in the interest of resolving grievances at the earliest possible step, it may be beneficial that other representatives, not specifically designated, be in attendance. Therefore, the parties may mutually agree to the attendance of other representatives.
