Request for General Indefinite Leave of Absence. i. A full-time or OTFT part-time Employee may, for valid reasons, be granted indefinite leave of absence without pay. ii. Except in extenuating circumstances all requests for general indefinite leave of absence must be submitted, in writing, twenty-eight (28) calendar days in advance to the immediate supervisor with a copy to the Local Union.
