Common use of Request for Vacation Period Clause in Contracts

Request for Vacation Period. All vacations must be taken at a time satisfactory to the District but shall, if the employee makes a request in writing at least thirty (30) days prior to a requested date, be arranged where possible in accordance with the express preference of the employee. Except for a case of an unforeseen Municipal emergency, once an employee's vacation has been approved it shall not be changed except by mutual agreement. Vacation requests shall not be unreasonably denied.
