Requests for Days Off. (a) Requests for specific days off are to be submitted, in writing, at least three (3) weeks in advance of posting the schedule. Such requests will not be unreasonably requested nor denied. Such requests shall be responded to within six (6) calendar days prior to posting of the schedule. These requests will be granted on the basis of seniority. Requests for specific days off submitted after the above noted request timeframe will be considered on a first come first serve basis. Such requests shall be responded to within six (6) calendar days of the request.

A “timely written request” is defined as a request in writing received by OIG at least five business days prior to the date by which any act is due to be performed or any notification or report is due to be filed.
