Residencv. All employees who, as of March 17, 1977, resided outside the City of Charlevoix shall be permitted to remain outside the City limits for the duration of their employment. All employees hired after March 17, 1977, shall, as a condition of employment, reside within the geographical area that is co-extensive with the school district for the City of Charlevoix. Employees are at all times required to have on file with the Fire Department and/or Police Department their current residence address and telephone number.

Residencv. All employees of the Cadillac Fire Department shall have the option of living in the City, or in one of the four (4) Townships which surround the City. These Townships include Cherry Grove, Clam Lake, Xxxxxx and Xxxxx Townships. Employees who choose to live outside the City of Cadillac shall be required to pay a fifty dollar (50.00) annual fee. This fee represents a payment to the City in lieu of contribution toward the Act 345 retirement system that is funded by tax millage on real estate located in the City. Nurses working under close and direct supervision shall not be assigned charge duty or as a team leader without a staff nurse being present in the unit, except in cases of emergency.
