Respectful Environment. The University and the Union recognize the right of employees to work in a respectful environment free from bullying and harassment. The University shall investigate and take appropriate action when an employee complains that they have been bullied or harassed in the course of their employment by a supervisor or another member of the University community. When an employee has made such a complaint, the employee may request temporary reassignment. Such a request shall not be unreasonably denied. The employee shall have recourse to the Grievance Procedure. Grievances under this article shall start at Step 3 and shall be treated in strict confidence.
