Respectful Work Environment. (a) The parties agree that all employees, both bargaining unit and management representatives should act in a professional and civil manner, irrespective of any personal differences which may exist (e.g. personality conflicts, differences of opinion). (b) Where an individual has a legitimate cause for concern in relation to the above, he may file a formal complaint with either a designated member of the Union or management. Within three (3) days of receipt of the complaint, the receiving party shall advise the other party in writing of said complaint. (c) Thereafter, the parties shall jointly investigate the complaint and prepare a joint report outlining their respective or joint findings, as the case may be, and this, within thirty (30) days of the filing of the complaint. (d) Without limiting the Employer’s management rights pursuant to the Collective Agreement, the Union may make recommendations to the Employer with respect to the disposition of the complaint.
