Responsibility Dollars. ‌ Responsibility dollars are paid to employees who take on additional responsibilities that are temporary in nature. Compensation will be provided when responsibilities are either for unusual one-time projects or responsibilities normally assigned to someone with a higher job classification. Responsibility dollars are not provided to employees for additional work related to normal fluctuations in workload or changing responsibilities within an employee’s scope of responsibility.
