Common use of Retraining and Study Leave Clause in Contracts

Retraining and Study Leave. 12.1.1 The District may grant a classified employee a leave of absence not to exceed one year for the purpose of permitting study by the employee or for the purpose of retraining the employee provided such leave is useful in meeting changing conditions within the District. The decision to grant such leaves and compensation granted during such leaves shall be in compliance with the California Education Codes.
