Return of Clothing Sample Clauses

Return of Clothing. Should an employee coming within the scope of this Agreement discontinue employment with the City within the first year following his/her probationary period, such employee shall return to the City all clothing issued to such employee. No clothing shall be issued to an employee during his/her last year of employment prior to retirement. Should any such employee fail to comply with this provision, the City shall be entitled to deduct the value of any clothing not returned from any moneys owing to such employee.

Return of Clothing. All clothing items provided to officers shall remain the property of the City. Upon an officer’s permanent separation (other than re- tirement or duty disability) from the service of the City, all such items, other than those worn out through normal use, must be returned (or paid for) by the officer before his/her final payroll check will be issued.
