Common use of Return to Employment – General Clause in Contracts

Return to Employment – General. At the conclusion of a personal leave 12 of absence of forty-five (45) days or less, the nurse will be returned to 13 his/her former position on the same shift in the same nursing unit. If the 14 leave is for forty-six (46) days or more, and the position has been filled 15 by another nurse, the nurse may bid on any open position suitable to 16 his/her qualifications and interests or, at the nurse’s option, be placed 17 on the layoff/recall list and have recall rights for twelve (12) months from 18 that date.
