Review of Staffing Decisions. (a) An employee who is an unsuccessful applicant for an appointment to the Public Service may request from the individual responsible for the appointment an explanation of the reasons why they were not appointed.

Review of Staffing Decisions. The parties acknowledge that an expeditious hiring process is in both parties' interest. If an employee initiates a review and is successful, pursuant to the Public Service Act, and the Employer fills the position during the review period, the Employer agrees that it will ensure both the incumbent and the employee who should have been hired are placed in an equivalent position within the same geographic location.
