Service Seniority Tie Breaker. A regular employee who had previously been an auxiliary employee and who had not lost their auxiliary seniority at the time of becoming a regular employee shall be entitled to use the equivalency of their previously accrued auxiliary seniority as the tie breaker where two or more regular employees have the same regular service seniority.

Service Seniority Tie Breaker. A regular employee who had previously been an auxiliary employee and who had not lost their auxiliary seniority at the time of becoming a regular employee shall be entitled to use the equivalency of their previously accrued auxiliary seniority as the tie breaker where two or more regular employees have the same regular service seniority. ARTICLE POSTINGS, TRANSFERS AND Postings Vacancies of a regular nature that are to be filled, for positions in the Bargaining Unit, shall be posted throughout the Public Service or in Regions or Ministries as deemed necessary by the appropriate Deputy Minister. Ministries are not precluded from filling more than one vacancy from each posting. The notice ofpostings shall contain the information: Nature of position, qualification, skills, whether shift work is involved, wage or salary rate or range and where applicable, specific location. Such qualifications may not be established in an arbitrary or discriminatory manner. Eligibility lists may be established the posting process and used to vacancies. When eligibility lists are established it shall be stated on the posting. Eligibility lists shall be in effect for a maximum of months from the establishment of the list. Vacancies of a temporary which are. known to exceed seven months shall be posted within days. Such postings will normally be limited to the seniority block within each jurisdictional unit as described in Clause In those circumstances where the posting is not limited, the provisions of Memorandum of Understanding Board and Lodging and Relocation Expenses, will not apply. Notices shall be posted at least days prior to the closing date of the competition except as provided for in Clauses (Relocations), (Transfer Without Posting) and (Rehabilitation Committee). Employees who are absent from their places of employment for periods of longer than calendar days may make a preliminary application for, and in anticipation of, vacancies or new positions which may be posted in their absence.   • Seniority Tie Breaker The Employer and the Union agree that where there is a tie in seniority between two or more Employees, a determination of seniority shall be made in the following manner:
