The Union recognizes the rights of the Employer to operate and manage the schools in accordance with its commitments and responsibilities, and to make and alter from time to time rules and regulations to be observed by employees; such rules and regulations shall not be contrary to any provisions of this Agreement. The Employer shall always have the right to hire, assign, discipline and discharge employees for proper cause, and such right shall not be exercised in a manner inconsistent with the provisions of this Agreement. Job descriptions shall not be eliminated without prior written notification to the Union.
