Rubric. The rubric is a scoring tool used for the Educator's self-assessment, the Formative Assessment, the Formative Evaluation and the Summative Evaluation. At the beginning of an evaluation cycle or the creation of a new Educator Plan, if there is a rubric other than the Classroom Teacher Rubric that is more appropriate for the Educator’s role and responsibilities (e.g., School Counselor, School Nurse), the Evaluator and the Educator will come to a mutual agreement about the rubric that will used for development of the Educator Plan. If mutual agreement is not reached, then the Evaluator and Educator will consult with the Principal who will make the final determination about which rubric to use based on the Educator’s job responsibilities and role in the school. See Appendix A of this Agreement for the adopted rubrics.
