Safe Work Method Statement. 5.1 The Subcontractor is to provide to the Company a Safe Work Method Statement prior to commencement of the Services. The Subcontractor’s personnel working on the Company’s site will be inducted by the Subcontractor into such Safe Work Method Statement.

Safe Work Method Statement. (a) Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) overview Contractors must complete a SWMS prior to commencing the tender work as this tender work involves high risk construction work (refer to the WHS Construction Activities Guidance Checklist if high risk construction work is being undertaken to check legislative requirements are met). A SWMS sets out the work activities in a logical sequence and identifies hazards and describes control measures. The description of the process should not be so broad that it leaves out activities with the potential to cause accidents and prevents proper identification of the hazards, nor is it necessary to go into fine detail of the tasks. The SWMS must be able to be easily read by those who need to know what has been planned to manage the risks, implement the control measures and ensure the work is being carried out in accordance with the SWMS. Relevant persons include the: - Supervisor of the high risk construction work; - Worker(s) carrying out the high risk construction work; and - The principal contractor (if it is a construction project) or the person who has management and control over the high risk construction work.

  • Drug-Free Workplace Certification As required by Executive Order No. 90-5 dated April 12, 1990, issued by the Governor of Indiana, the Contractor hereby covenants and agrees to make a good faith effort to provide and maintain a drug-free workplace. The Contractor will give written notice to the State within ten (10) days after receiving actual notice that the Contractor, or an employee of the Contractor in the State of Indiana, has been convicted of a criminal drug violation occurring in the workplace. False certification or violation of this certification may result in sanctions including, but not limited to, suspension of contract payments, termination of this Contract and/or debarment of contracting opportunities with the State for up to three (3) years. In addition to the provisions of the above paragraph, if the total amount set forth in this Contract is in excess of $25,000.00, the Contractor certifies and agrees that it will provide a drug-free workplace by:

  • Schematic Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE FORM The Drug-Free Workplace Form is attached and shall be completed and submitted with your bid.

  • Alternative Work Schedule An alternate forty (40) hour work schedule (other than five (5) uniform and consecutive eight (8) hour days in a seven (7) day period), or for hospital personnel an eighty (80) hour workweek in a fourteen (14) day period and other mutually agreed upon schedules that comply with applicable federal and state law. Employee work schedules normally include two (2) consecutive days off.

  • Flexible Work Schedule A flexible work schedule is any schedule that is not a regular, alternate, 9/80, or 4/10 work schedule and where the employee is not scheduled to work more than 40 hours in the "workweek" as defined in Subsections F. and H., below.

  • Progress Update Information included with the annual Data Access Request (DAR) renewal or Closeout summarizing the analysis of controlled-access datasets obtained through the DAR and any publications and presentations derived from the work.

  • Standard Work Week The standard work week shall be thirty-five (35) hours and is composed of five (5) consecutive standard work days.

  • CFR PART 200 Contract Provisions Explanation Required Federal contract provisions of Federal Regulations for Contracts for contracts with ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members: The following provisions are required to be in place and agreed if the procurement is funded in any part with federal funds. The ESC Region 8 and TIPS Members are the subgrantee or Subrecipient by definition.
