Safety Training and Equipment. Managers and coaches must complete a WSLL-approved safety class at least once every three years. The class’s purpose is designed to provide safety training to enable managers and coaches to recognize and react appropriately to common injuries and conditions encountered by youth baseball coaches. The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and administering this training, furnishing evidence of training to those who successfully completed the class and maintaining a roster of those who did on the safety officer section of the BOD section of the website. Managers and coaches must complete the Little League required safety and education training programs. This includes, at a minimum, the concussion training. The Safety Officer will make this training available to all managers and coaches via the required course link. Other Little League training requirements will be sent by the Safety Officer. Managers must have quick access to a phone, and carry any safety items, such as first aid kits, specified by the Safety Officer, and ensure they and all their coaches are trained in the kit’s use.

Safety Training and Equipment. The Employer will provide safety training to all employees and furnish safety and personal protective equipment for all employees, as is appropriate to individual positions. It shall be mandatory for all employees to participate in any required safety training provided by the Employer and to use safety and personal protective equipment when the Employer determines they are necessary.
