Salary for Independence Day. If Independence Day had otherwise been a working day, the employee is paid a full salary calculated based on the average hourly pay (see Section 27 Average hourly pay). If the work is paid by the day, hour or piecework, receiving this compensation requires that the employee has been continuously working for the employer for at least six working days before the Independence Day. The employee working on the Independence Day is paid as if it were a Sunday work.

  • PAYMENT FOR INJURED EMPLOYEES 17.01 In the event that an employee is injured in the performance of their duties, the employee shall, to the extent that they are required to stop work and receive treatment, be paid for wages for the remainder of their shift. If it is necessary, the Employer will provide or arrange for, suitable transportation for the employee to the doctor or hospital and back to the site and/or to the employee’s home as necessary.

  • Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.
