Common use of Salary on Promotion Clause in Contracts

Salary on Promotion. An employee shall be given an increase to the next higher rate in the new salary range effective on the date of the promotion the employee’s salary eligibility date shall be set for six (6) calendar months after the date of promotion. Upon successful completion of promotional trial service, the employee will receive a salary increase and annually thereafter until the employee reaches the top step of the range.
