Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards.
Salary Protection A regular employee who fills a regular vacancy or displaces a regular employee at a lower classification shall receive salary protection in accordance with Article 27.7.
Salary Grids Classifications and salary rates are attached as Schedule "A" and forms part of this Collective Agreement. The years referred to in the salary schedules shall mean years of continuous service with the Employer in the designated classification, plus the applicable allowances under 23.04. Years of service on the new grid may not relate to the employee’s service level as a result of April 1, 2007 harmonization of the grids and blending the bargaining units.
Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.
Salary Provisions A. Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours worked.
Salary Maintenance (a) Entitlement to salary maintenance An Affected Employee who is successfully redeployed will be entitled to salary maintenance where the Affected Employee’s pay is reduced because the new role:
Salary on Promotion (a) An employee shall be given no less than an increase to the next higher rate in the new salary range effective on the date of promotion. If an employee is demoted or removed during trial service as a result of a promotion, his/her salary shall be reduced to the former step, and the previous salary eligibility date shall be restored. If the employee’s salary eligibility date occurs during the promotional trial service period, upon reinstatement to the previous class, the salary eligibility date prior to promotion will be recognized.
Salary Deductions Salaried employees (E-level classifications) who are permanently assigned to full-time job classifications are paid on a bi-weekly salary basis. Salaried employees are paid a bi-weekly salary based on a minimum of two (2) forty (40) hour workweeks. The bi-weekly salary received by salaried employees will not be reduced regardless of the number of hours the salaried employee actually works in any week in which the salaried employee performs any work except for the following deductions:
Salary Scales 1. In the settlement of the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2000-2002 the parties committed themselves to the implementation of pay parity for kindergarten teachers. Senior teacher K3 and K4 salaries were benchmarked to the base salary (excluding the roll-based supplementary component) of a primary U2 and U3 principal respectively.
Salary/Wages Grantee shall list personnel involved, position classification, direct salary rates, and hours spent on the Project in accordance with Attachment 3, Grant Work Plan in their documentation for reimbursement or match requirements.
