Salary Rules. 17.1.4.1 The union agrees that the provisions in Article 5. Compensation of the Department of Personnel Administrations Code of Regulations shall apply to Unit 8 with the understanding that: 17.1.4.1.1 These Regulations shall be amended as shown in Attachment A (of the proposal by DPA on 6/12/97), effective January 1, 1998, except for the amendment to Section 599.684 (Appeal from Merit Salary Adjustment Action) which shall be effective July 1,1997, or the effective date of this agreement, whichever is later; and 17.1.4.1.2 If there are any differences between that Attachment A and Article 5 on or after January 1, 1998, the provisions in that Attachment A shall prevail.
