Common use of Salary Upon Promotion Clause in Contracts

Salary Upon Promotion. When an employee is promoted to a classification with a higher Base Rate, the employee will have their salary adjusted by multiplying the Base Rate for the new classification as specified on the Classification System - Basic Salary Schedule by the index rate from the appropriate table and will be determined consistent with Section 8.02 and/or Section 8.09.
