SCOPE OF EXTENDED HEALTH CARE COVERAGE. 3.1 Extended health care coverage shall not include prescription drug programs that are independent of available health plans. Continuation of dental plan coverage is at the entire expense of the eligible employee and is not included under the sick leave conversion provisions of this section. 3.2 Participants in the extended health care coverage program shall, when eligible, apply for Medicare Parts A and B and/or other insurance programs under which there is an entitlement to benefits.
