Second Language/Sign Language Requirement. 1. Where fluency in a second language or sign language is a specified requirement for a particular position ancillary to its basic function, the employee will receive a premium of 5% of their normal rate of pay. A second language or sign language is understood to be required where: a. it is a posted requirement for a new or vacant position; or b. it is applied to a particular job/employee by the College with the agreement of the Union. 2. The foregoing premium shall not apply where the second language or sign language requirement represents the primary responsibility of a position, so identified and compensated, nor shall it apply to employees with a functional knowledge of languages other than English, including sign language, who voluntarily utilize such knowledge to facilitate communications within the work environment.

  • Foreign Language Requirement Where a product sign or label used to provide a warning includes consumer information in a language other than English, the warning shall also be provided in such language.

  • Protocol The attached Protocol shall be an integral part of this Agreement.

  • Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications furnished on the CD are intended to establish the standards for quality, performance and technical requirements for all labor, workmanship, material, methods and equipment necessary to complete the Work. When specifications and drawings are provided or referenced by the County, these are to be considered part of the Scope of Work, and to be specifically documented in the Detailed Scope of Work. For convenience, the County supplied specifications, if any, and the Technical Specifications furnished on the CD.

  • CERTIFICATION REGARDING DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE REQUIREMENTS 1. The Contractor certifies that it will provide a drug-free workplace by: a. Publishing a statement notifying employees that the unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession or use of a controlled substance is prohibited in the Contractor’s workplace and specifying the actions that will be taken against employees for violation of such prohibition;

  • Mandate Letter language The Funder will receive a Mandate Letter from the Ministry annually. Each Mandate Letter articulates areas of focus for the Funder, and the Ministry’s expectation that the Funder and health service providers it funds will collaborate to advance these areas of focus. To assist the HSP in its collaborative efforts with the Funder, the Funder will share each relevant Mandate Letter with the HSP. The Funder may also add local obligations to Schedule D as appropriate to further advance any priorities set put in a Mandate Letter.
