Secondary Class Size and Targeted Average. 25 The employee workload in secondary classrooms (except band, choir, orchestra, 26 and PE) shall average no more than 27 students per period, with a class size of 30 27 for impact. These calculations shall exclude student assistants or peer tutors. If 28 an individual class exceeds the impact level (30), overload compensation will 29 apply. If the overall targeted average of 27 is exceeded, overload compensation 30 will apply.   • Allocation of Senior Reduction Amount to the Reference Tranches On each Payment Date prior to the Termination Date, after allocation of the Tranche Write-down Amount or Tranche Write-up Amount, if any, for such Payment Date as described above, the Senior Reduction Amount will be allocated to reduce the Class Notional Amount of each Class of Reference Tranche in the following order of priority, in each case until its Class Notional Amount is reduced to zero:

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Higher Salary Range Maximum Upon appointment to the higher class, the employee’s base salary will be increased to a step of the range for the new class that is nearest to five percent (5.0%) higher than the amount of the pre-promotional step, or to the entry step of the new range, whichever is higher.

  • Allocation of Subordinate Reduction Amount to the Reference Tranches On each Payment Date prior to the Termination Date, after allocation of the Senior Reduction Amount and the Tranche Write-down Amount or Tranche Write-up Amount, if any, for such Payment Date as described above, the Subordinate Reduction Amount will be allocated to reduce the Class Notional Amount of each Class of Reference Tranche in the following order of priority, in each case until its Class Notional Amount is reduced to zero:
