Section 504 Coordinator. By September 30, 2016, the University will officially designate at least one person to coordinate its efforts to comply with Section 504 and its implementing regulation (and may include other bases).

Section 504 Coordinator. Within sixty (60) calendar days of signing the Agreement, the School will provide to OCR documentation indicating that the School has approved and created the position of Section 504 Coordinator. The documentation will include a position description.
Section 504 Coordinator. The College’s Section 504 Coordinator will coordinate its efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504), including the investigation of any complaint communicated to it alleging its noncompliance with this law or alleging any actions that would be prohibited by this law. The College will provide OCR a detailed description of the responsibilities of the Section 504 Coordinator and a list of where the Section 504 Coordinator’s name, title, and contact information is posted. The Section 504 Coordinator’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

The Section 504 Coordinator (and his/her designee(s)) shall be available to answer questions and provide appropriate assistance to ADC Staff and the public regarding immediate access to, and proper use of, the appropriate auxiliary aids and services required by this Agreement. The Section 504 Coordinator shall oversee and ensure the quality of the services provided by the interpreters, readers, and note-takers that ADC uses.

Section 504 Coordinator. The Medical Center shall designate an individual to be responsible for coordinating compliance with Section 504, including receiving and ensuring the investigation of all Section 504-related complaints against the Medical Center, consistent with Section VII of this Agreement. For purposes of this Agreement, a complaint alleging any problem related to a disabled person’s service animal will be treated as a Section 504- related complaint.
