UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented.
30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be:
(a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management;
(b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical;
(c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management;
(d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 22.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the unit, after notifying the President or his designate, for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 19.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to the Employer's premises for the purpose of observing working conditions and dealing with matters arising out of or pertaining to the Collective Agreement. Union Representatives shall be entitled to speak to the Union Shop Xxxxxxx during such visits and all such time spent by the Shop Stewards, during their regular shift, shall be considered as time worked.
19.02 A full-time Union Representative shall first notify the appropriate management person before proceeding on a visit at the Employer’s premises. The Employer shall cooperate with the Union to enable such visits to occur but not be disruptive of the normal business of the Employer. When in the plant, the Union Representative shall observe all reasonable rules and regulations.
19.03 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted after notifying the employee’s supervisor or his or her designated representative on duty, and shall be:
(a) carried on in private and in a place within the Employer’s premises designated by the Employer;
(b) held whenever possible during a meal or rest period. However, when this is not practical,
(c) held during the employee’s working hours. Time taken for such interview shall be limited to five (5) minutes. With the approval of the Employer such interview may be longer than five (5) minutes but any time taken in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on the Employer’s time; and
(d) held at such times as shall minimize interference with the Employer’s operations.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 29.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit all areas of the Employer's operations for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. Union Representatives agree to notify the Employer prior to their visit. Such visits shall not unduly disrupt operations. If necessary, a Union Shop Xxxxxxx shall be entitled to accompany the full-time Union Representative during such visits. If the Union Shop Xxxxxxx is scheduled to be working all such time spent by the Shop Xxxxxxx shall be considered as time worked. All time spent by the Union Shop Xxxxxxx outside of their scheduled working hours shall not be considered as time worked.
29.02 The Union Representative, without limiting the foregoing, can interview an employee for the purpose of investigating a possible grievance or signing up new employees. Such interviews shall occur
a) after notifying the employee’s supervisor or her designate solely for the purpose of ensuring that coverage can be arranged;
b) carried on in private in a place within the Employer’s premises designated by management;
c) held, whenever possible, during the employee’s lunch period or rest period;
d) if necessary to hold an interview during the employee’s working hours, the time taken for such interview shall be limited to five (5) minutes, but with the approval of management such interview may be longer than five (5) minutes, and
e) held at such times as to minimize the interference with the Employer’s operation.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. A Union Representative shall be permitted visitation rights after first notifying the administrator or designate upon arrival in order to oversee the terms of the Collective Agreement and interview employees. Interviews shall only be:
(a) carried on in a place designated by management;
(b) held whenever possible during the employee’s lunch period. However, if this is not practical;
(c) during regular working hours. Time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on the Employer’s time, unless with the specific approval of management;
(d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the residents/participants.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. Subject to the terms of this Agreement, upon prior notification to the Program Manager or designate, authorized Representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit all work areas of the Employer's operations, with minimal disruption to the consumers or the employees, for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. Such visits will not be conducted in an unreasonable manner. The full-time Union Representative shall interview employees during their meal and/or rest periods, whenever possible. However, if the interview must occur during the employee's working hours, the Employer shall allow each employee up to five
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 16.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit all areas of the Employer's premises to which the bargaining unit employees normally have access to for the purpose of observing working conditions, and for the purpose of interviewing and communicating with the employees on duty, and for the purpose of ensuring that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. Such visits shall only commence after the Union Representative has first notified the General Manager or, in the absence of the General Manager, another designated Representative of Management who is on duty at the time of the visit. Such notification shall take place immediately upon entering the Employer’s premises and before proceeding on a visit. The full-time Union Representatives shall not unduly interrupt, disrupt or stop any employee who is engaged in the performance of his or her duties. The full-time representatives shall not access any confidential information when visiting the Employer's premises.
16.02 The interview of an employee by a full-time Union Representative shall be permitted after notifying the employee's manager or his or her designated representative, and shall be:
(a) carried on in private in a place within the Employer's premises designated by management;
(b) held whenever possible during the meal period or rest periods. However, when this is not practical;
(c) held during the employee's working hours. Time taken for such interview shall be limited to five (5) minutes, and with the approval of management such interview may be longer than five (5) minutes but time taken in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on the employer's time; and
(d) held at such times as shall minimize interference with the employer's operation.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 6.01 Duly authorized full-time Representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Gas Bar locations for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Agreement are being implemented.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 18.01 After notifying the Associate Owner or his designate, an authorized Union Representative may visit the Company's premises for purpose of meeting with the Company and/or employees. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal store operations. All discussions with employees relating to union matters shall be conducted in the non-public areas of the store.
UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS. 22.01 Duly authorized full-time Representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the store for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees, and to ensure that the terms of the Agreement are being implemented.
22.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted after notifying the Store Manager, and shall be:
(1) carried on in a place in the store designated by Management;
(2) held whenever possible during the lunch period. However, if this is not practical;
(3) during regular working hours. Time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of Management;
(4) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public. No interview shall be held on Friday, Saturday, or any day after 4:00 p.m. or on the day preceding a General Holiday, except in cases of employees who work only Fridays, Saturdays, or after 3:30 p.m.
22.03 The Union Representatives shall not discuss grievances with the Store Manager. Such matters shall be presented to the Co-operative in accordance with the provisions of Article 37 of this Agreement.
22.04 Union Representatives shall be permitted to review the hours of work schedule and in the event of any discrepancies, they shall be presented under Article 37 of this Agreement.
22.05 Union Representatives shall be permitted to have a maximum of five (5) minutes with the Shop Xxxxxxx(s) on duty when servicing. The Union Representative will notify the Manager on duty prior to this meeting taking place.
