Section 7.1.3. 27 Employees in the job classification of Laborer shall normally work no more than a forty (40) 28 hour workweek. Such workweek may include Saturday notwithstanding the provisions of 29 Section 7.1, 7.2.2, 7.3.1, and 7.9.3. Overtime shall be as specified in Section 7.9.
Section 7.1.3. 36 In the event an employee is absent for reasons covered by Industrial Insurance, the District shall 37 pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid the employee by 38 the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would normally receive in 39 sick leave benefits. A deduction shall be made from the employee's accumulated sick leave in 40 accordance with the amount paid to the employee by the District. 41

Section 7.1.3. 1. Each year of this Agreement Beginning August 1, 2016, selected AAI office staff 36 (either individual or multiple) will be assigned up to forty (40) hours of additional time during the 37 month of August at each elementary school to perform AAI duties as assigned by building 38 administrators and/or AAVs. Such work will be compensated at the employee’s regular rate of pay. 39 This is designated for the preparation and the opening of the elementary schools.
