Common use of Section 9.1.2 Clause in Contracts

Section 9.1.2. 34 In the event employees are absent for reasons covered by Industrial Insurance, the District shall 35 pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid the employee by 36 the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would normally earn. A 37 deduction shall be made from the employee’s accumulated sick leave in accordance with the 38 amount paid to the employee by the District. If no sick leave is available, no payment from the 39 District shall be made. 40

Section 9.1.2. 34 37 In the event employees are absent for reasons which are covered by Industrial Insurance, the 38 District shall 35 pay the employee an amount equal to the difference between the amount paid the 39 employee by 36 the Department of Labor and Industries and the amount the employee would 40 normally earnearn provided the employee wishes to draw from accumulated sick leave during such 41 absence, which choice shall rest exclusively with the employee. A 37 deduction shall be made 42 from the employee’s 's accumulated sick leave in accordance with the 38 amount paid to the 43 employee by the District. If no sick leave is available, no payment from the 39 District shall be made. 4044
