Leave of Absence. 40 Upon recommendation of the immediate supervisor through administrative channels to the 41 Superintendent, and upon approval of the Board of Directors, an employee may be granted a leave of 42 absence for a period not to exceed one (1) year; provided, however, if such leave is granted due to 43 extended illness, one (1) additional year may be granted.
