Senior Teacher. (a) A teacher will incrementally progress to senior teacher, subject to the following criteria: (i) one year’s employment on Band 3, Step 4; and (ii) completion of three (3) days professional development, in their own time, in each of the three (3) years preceding their application; and (iii) provision, on request, of a portfolio of evidence of professional development activities undertaken; and (iv) a commitment to continue to participate in professional development.
