Seniority Accrual during Unpaid Leave. An employee's position classification/grade and University seniority, as defined in Articles 5 and 11 shall be frozen and shall not accrue during any leave without pay, except as otherwise required by law. An employee shall not earn any vacation days or sick days during unpaid leave, except as otherwise required by law.
