Seniority shall be defined as the length of service to the district, beginning with the date of hire (except anyone hired as a two hour or 2 + 2 hour paraprofessional). Seniority in the unit, for purposes of this Agreement, shall mean continuous employment as an employee of the support unit, but shall exclude all periods when the employee was on leave of absence for any cause.
