Separation From Employment Bargaining. Unit Members who have received reimbursement as set forth above in excess of $100.00 must reimburse this expense to the Township upon their resignation or dismissal. This reimbursement will be in accord with the following increments beginning with successful completion of education: (1) within 6 months - 100%; (2) from 7-12 months - 50%; (3) from 13-18 months - 25%; (4) from 19-24 months - 10%; (5) after 24 months - 0%. The Township will reduce a Bargaining Unit Member’s final paycheck to cover expenses owed by the reimbursement schedule, so long as the Bargaining Unit Member receives wages in accordance with minimum wage laws. Bargaining Unit Members will sign an agreement with the Township indicating their understanding and agreement to this reimbursement schedule.

  • INCOME FROM EMPLOYMENT 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 15, 17 and 18, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.

  • Supported Employment Supported employment is provided to an individual who has paid, individualized, competitive employment in the community (i.e., a setting that includes non- disabled workers) to help the individual sustain that employment.   • Outside Employment Employees may engage in other employment outside of their State working hours so long as the outside employment does not involve a conflict of interest with their State employment. Whenever it appears that any such outside employment might constitute a conflict of interest, the employee is expected to consult with his/her appointing authority or other appropriate agency representative prior to engaging in such outside employment. Employees of agencies where there are established procedures concerning outside employment for the purpose of insuring compliance with specific statutory restrictions on outside employment are expected to comply with such procedures.

  • Deceased Employees The employer may approve a cash payment equivalent to the two lots of two weeks' salary to the widow, widower or if no surviving spouse exists, to dependent child(ren) or to the estate, of a deceased employee who had qualified for long service leave but who had neither taken nor forfeited it under these rules. This payment will be in addition to any grant made under the Retirement Gratuity Provisions specified in this Agreement.

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns her position and within sixty (60) days is re-employed, shall be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and shall retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and other fringe benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.
