Common use of Sergeant Clause in Contracts

Sergeant. To be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of Sergeant, a Police Officer must have at least five (5) years of service as a full-time Police Officer at the time the posting period is closed. At least three (3) of the five (5) years of service must be in a patrol assignment with the Gahanna Division of Police. Members assigned to the Detective Bureau as of January 1, 2019 must have at least thirty (30) months of service in a patrol assignment to be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of sergeant.

Sergeant. To be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of Sergeant, a Police Officer must have at least five (5) years of service as a full-time Police Officer at the time the posting period is closed. Members assigned to the Detective Bureau Subdivision as of January 1, 2019 must have at least thirty (30) months of service in a patrol assignment to be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of sergeant.

To be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of Sergeant, a Police Officer must have at least five thirty (530) years months of service as a full-time Police Officer Office in the Gahanna Police Department at the time the posting period is closed. At least three one year (3immediately after completion of field training) of the five thirty (530) years months of service must be in a patrol assignment with the Gahanna Division of Police. Members assigned to the Detective Bureau as of January 1, 2019 must have at least thirty (30) months of service in a patrol assignment to be qualified to receive promotional consideration for the rank of sergeantassignment.
