Session Protocol. Facial coverings for staff/clients is highly preferred, however, in the event a client is unable to tolerate a face mask for medical, behavioral, or developmental reasons, additional health checks are warranted • According to the CDC, wearing gloves is only recommended when cleaning or caring for others that are sick. SSABA staff does not require the use of gloves unless these circumstances apply and/or staff assist with hygiene- related skill deficits o Proper disinfecting of all materials client/staff contact or use o Staff/Client must wash hands or use hand sanitizer at least 1x/hr., or when necessary (i.e. touching face, sneezing, coughing, etc.) o Social distancing when applicable/as much as possible o Facial coverings unless otherwise counter-productive to the session and/or client needs or deficits (individualized basis)
