Settling of Grievances. An xxxxxxx effort shall be made to settle grievances fairly and promptly in the following manner: Step 1 The aggrieved Employee(s) will submit the dispute to her Xxxxxxx. If the Employee's Xxxxxxx is absent, she may submit her dispute to the alternate Xxxxxxx. At each step of the grievance procedure, the griever shall have the right to be present. Step 2 The Xxxxxxx will work with the local union office in seeking to settle the dispute with a designated Officer of the Board of Directors, after consultation with the Coordinator. Failing satisfactory settlement within five (5) working days after the dispute was submitted under Step 2, the Xxxxxxx will submit a written statement of the particulars of the grievance and the redress sought to the Owner and/or Board of the Day Care Centre. The Owner and/or Board shall render its decision within fifteen (15) working days after receipt of such notice.
