Common use of Shift and Weekend Premium Clause in Contracts

Shift and Weekend Premium. (a) Effective July 1, 2021, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and five cents ($1.05) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. Effective July 1, 2023, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. (b) Effective July 1, 2021, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20222012, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty eighty-five cents ($1.3085¢) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2022, an 2012 – An employee shall be paid a receive shift premium differential for all evening and night shifts at the rate of one dollar and fifteen seventy cents ($1.15.70) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700in addition to her regular pay. Effective July 1, 2023, an 2013 – An employee shall be paid a receive shift premium differential for all evening and night shifts at the rate of one dollar and twenty eighty-five cents ($1.20.85) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700in addition to her regular pay. (b) Effective July 1, 20212010, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty seventy-five cents ($1.2075¢) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20232013, – an employee shall be paid a receive shift premium differentials for all evening and night shifts at the rate of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20eighty-five cents(85¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700in addition to her/his regular pay. (b) Effective July 1, 20212009, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty sixty-five cents ($1.2065¢) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July April 1, 20222024, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.301.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. (b) Effective July 1March 11, 20212022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 2200 hours Friday and 2300 2200 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 2200 hours Friday and 2300 2200 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. Effective July 1, 2023, If an employee shall be paid is receiving premium pay pursuant to a shift local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700.under this provision.. (b) Effective July 1, 20212019, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty five cents ($1.201.05) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20222020, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty ten cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. Effective July 1, 2022, an employee shall be paid a shift premium date of one dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700. Effective July 1, 2023ratification, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 1500-0700. Effective July 1, 2024, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700. Effective July 1, 2025, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700. (b) Effective July 1date of ratification, 2021remove $1.00 per hour premium on all hours worked in lieu of shift, weekend, and responsibility premiums. Effective date of ratification, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty thirty-five cents ($1.201.35) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 0700 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreementon Monday. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20222024, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty forty cents ($1.301.40) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 0700 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreementon Monday. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20232025, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty-forty five cents ($1.351.45) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 0700 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreementon Monday. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. (a) If an employee is required by the Employer to work a weekend in violation of the weekends off scheduling obligations of the Collective Agreement (if any), they will receive premium payment of time and one-half (1½) for all hours worked on that weekend. Time worked on that weekend will not be considered when determining future such premium obligations. (b) Premium pay is payable whenever a weekend is worked in excess of the consecutive weekends permitted by the Collective Agreement unless the assignment of the weekend shift to the employee was initiated by that employee or unless another provision of the agreement makes it clear that premium pay is not due.

Shift and Weekend Premium. (a) Effective July 1, 2021, an An employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar of: Effective July 1, 2009, – (i) (ii) Between 1500 hours and 2300 hours – fifty-five cents ($1.0555¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hour; Between 2300 hours of 1500 and 07000700 hours – fifty-five cents (55¢) per hour. Effective July 1, 2023, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty 0700 hours – sixty cents ($1.2060¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700hour. (b) Effective July 1, 20212009, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty sixty-five cents ($1.2065¢) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20222010, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty cents ($1.30) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. Effective July 1, 2023, an 2013 – An employee shall be paid a receive shift premium differentials for all evening and night shifts at the rate of one dollar and twenty eighty-five cents ($1.2085¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 0700in addition to her regular pay. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision. Effective July 1, 20232013, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and thirty-five cents ($1.351.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

Shift and Weekend Premium. Effective July 11st, 2022, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and fifteen cents ($1.15) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 1500-0700. Effective July 11st, 2023, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 and 1500-0700. (b) Effective July 11st, 2021, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and twenty cents ($1.20) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.
