Example: Employee A shift: 0800-1630 Employee B shift: 1630-0100 Employee B works a partial trade for Employee A from 1530-1630. Employee B would receive no shift premium for the trade hour (1530-1630) as this is part of a day shift (0800-1630) and would receive the normal afternoon shift premium for the employee’shis or her 1630-0100 shift.
