Premium Share. Subject to the terms and conditions of the plans, the Board will pay 100 per cent of the premiums for group life insurance, medical services plan, extended health and dental benefits for all eligible permanent employees working half-time or greater. Eligible permanent part-time employees working less than half-time will receive benefits on a pro-rata basis. Municipal superannuation premiums will be as indicated in the Municipal Superannuation Act.

Premium Share. Full-time eligible bargaining unit members’ contributions toward the premium cost Medical, Prescription Drug, Vision, and Dental insurances shall be in the amount equal to 10% of the of premium from the base High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). Also, employees with at least thirty (30) hours but less than thirty-five (35) hours can receive the HDHP single at a cost equal to 9.2% of gross monthly wages. The Board shall provide to the extent available under the internal revenue code and regulations a flexible spending account (section 125 plan) for the payment of unit members insurance premium contributions on a pretax basis, and other contributions agreed to by the Board and the Association.
