Weekend Premium Pay. Any nurse who works on a weekend shall receive four dollars ($4.00) per hour premium pay for each hour worked on the weekend in addition to the nurse’s regular rate of pay. Weekend premium pay shall not be included in the nurse’s regular rate of pay for overtime pay calculations, unless required by the Fair Labor Standards Act. The weekend shall be defined as all hours between 11:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 p.m.

10.1.5.1 Registered Nurses who work the weekend day shift Saturday and Sunday shall receive $2.50 per hour over the base rate for all hours worked during that shift. Registered Nurses who are scheduled to work the weekend night shift (Friday and Saturday) shall receive $4.50 per hour over the base rate for all hours worked during that shift.

For class 7410 Automotive Service Worker at MUNI only, when Saturday is worked as part of the scheduled forty (40) hour work week, it shall be paid at the straight time rate, with an additional premium of 6% of the base rate. 163. For class 7410 Automotive Service Worker at MUNI only, when Sunday is worked as part of the scheduled forty (40) hour work week, it shall be paid at the straight time rate, with an additional premium of 45% of 94% of one half the base rate.

Weekend hours are hours actually worked beginning midnight Friday and ending midnight Sunday. This premium will be paid in addition to straight time and any overtime pay required by this Agreement.
