Basic Hourly Wages. 1. An employee whose rate of pay upon the Effective Date of this Agreement would be less than the rate he or she received on the day prior to the Effective Date, as a result of the elimination of market differentials or changes in longevity pay, will be protected at the higher rate until the date on which his rate of pay under this Agreement equals or exceeds the rate of pay he received prior to the Effective Date. Nothing in this Agreement will be construed to prevent increases in individual rates or classifications over and above the minimum specified. The following hourly rates will prevail on the beginning of the pay period closest to the effective date.

  • Overtime Compensation (a) Overtime worked shall be compensated at the following rates:

  • Minimum Wages a. All laborers and mechanics employed or working upon the site of the work, will be paid unconditionally and not less often than once a week, and without subsequent deduction or rebate on any account (except such payroll deductions as are permitted by regulations issued by the Secretary of Labor under the Xxxxxxxx Act (29 CFR part 3)), the full amount of wages and bona fide fringe benefits (or cash equivalents thereof) due at time of payment computed at rates not less than those contained in the wage determination of the Secretary of Labor which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, regardless of any contractual relationship which may be alleged to exist between the contractor and such laborers and mechanics. Contributions made or costs reasonably anticipated for bona fide fringe benefits under section 1(b)(2) of the Xxxxx-Xxxxx Act on behalf of laborers or mechanics are considered wages paid to such laborers or mechanics, subject to the provisions of paragraph 1.d. of this section; also, regular contributions made or costs incurred for more than a weekly period (but not less often than quarterly) under plans, funds, or programs which cover the particular weekly period, are deemed to be constructively made or incurred during such weekly period. Such laborers and mechanics shall be paid the appropriate wage rate and fringe benefits on the wage determination for the classification of work actually performed, without regard to skill, except as provided in 29 CFR 5.5(a)(4). Laborers or mechanics performing work in more than one classification may be compensated at the rate specified for each classification for the time actually worked therein: Provided, That the employer's payroll records accurately set forth the time spent in each classification in which work is performed. The wage determination (including any additional classification and wage rates conformed under paragraph 1.b. of this section) and the Xxxxx-Xxxxx poster (WH–1321) shall be posted at all times by the contractor and its subcontractors at the site of the work in a prominent and accessible place where it can be easily seen by the workers.

  • Overtime Equalization The assignment of overtime shall be reasonably equalized within classifications. The normal maximum hours officers will be scheduled is (15) fifteen hours. Upon field training competition, probationary officers will begin their total overtime hours on the overtime equalization chart at the average of all members within the officer classification. An overtime equalization chart shall be maintained within the department. The chart shall list all overtime offers and each officer’s declined and accepted hours for each particular offer. Each time an officer is offered overtime, the number of overtime hours worked, or the number of hours declined, will be credited to officer’s chart. The overtime equalization chart shall be posted monthly.

  • LIVING WAGE An Authorized User subject to a local law establishing a “living wage”, such as Section 6-109 of the New York City Administrative Code, is required to ensure the Contractor sought to be hired complies with such local law. If the pay rate(s) for a job title(s) as set forth in Appendix E – Pricing Pages, are less than the local law “living wage” than Authorized User subject to such local law cannot use this Contract for such job title(s). Local laws, however, are not a term and condition of the OGS Contract. PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS Work being done under a resulting Authorized User Agreement may be subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the New York State Labor Law. Such work will be identified by the Authorized User within the RFQ. See “Prevailing Wage Rates – Public Works and Building Services Contracts’ in Appendix B, Clause 10, OGS General Specifications. Any federal or State determination of a violation of any public works law or regulation, or labor law or regulation, or any OSHA violation deemed "serious or willful" may be grounds for a determination of vendor non-responsibility and rejection of proposal. The PDF file may be searched to obtain the Prevailing Wage Rate for a specific occupation. SHORT TERM EXTENSION In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to three (3) months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to six (6) months in lieu of three (3) months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. PROCUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS Authorized Users should refer to Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract. OGS reserves the right to unilaterally make revisions, changes and/or updates to Attachment 1 – How to Use the Manufacturer Umbrella Contract without processing a formal amendment and/or modification. SPECIFICATIONS During the term of the Contract, the Authorized User may request Product specifications for particular items that have been included by the Contractor in Appendix E – Pricing Pages. These specifications will be provided by the Contractor at no cost.

  • Wages A transferring employee will be paid in accordance with the collective agreement of the designated employer.

  • Payment of Wages Wages will be paid weekly by electronic funds transfer (EFT). The employer shall comply with all provisions in relation to the keeping of time and wage records and production of pay slips in accordance with the Industrial Relations Xxx 0000. Each employee is responsible for the accurate and timely completion and provision of time sheets and production records.
