Shop Stewards. (a) 5.01 The Union shall appoint from among Company recognizes the employees, and the Employer shall recognize, Shop Stewards in each right of the Employer's operations. Shop Stewards. (a) Shop Stewards: Stewards shall be entitled to leave their work during regular working hours for the investigation and processing of grievances and other workplace issues, and to attend meetings with the Employer. Permission to leave work during working hours for such purpose shall first be obtained from management, and such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All such time spent performing Union duties shall be considered to be time worked. The Union agrees to keep, as much as possible, such request to a minimum.
(b) The Employer and the Union agree that no officers of the Employer or employees may enter into any contract inconsistent with this Agreement. Any amendment or changes as outlined in the Agreement during its term shall be incorporated only by mutual consent. It is agreed by the Employer and the Union that this paragraph also covers working conditions, so long as it does not prevent the Employer from maintaining an adequate and qualified work force, or infringe on the Management’s Right clause as spelled out in this Agreement.

(e) The Employer shall provide on-site office space for the Union to be used by both the Union’s shop stewards and the employees Tip Committee. The parties will look to alternate space for the Union office (e.g. smoke room if and when it becomes available). This office will be supplied with a desk, chair, filing cabinet, computer, internet connection and telephone for the Union’s usage.

Shop Stewards. (a) 11.01 The Employer recognizes the right of the Union shall appoint from among the employees, and the Employer shall recognize, to designate Shop Stewards in each number as determined by the Union but acting in absence of the Employer's operationsUnion ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. If the time used by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ to investigate, present or disciplined process a grievance is during the regular schedule of work for such ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇; he shall receive his regular pay for the proper performance hours he is so occupied that are within his scheduled hours of their duties on behalf work.

Shop Stewards. (a) The Union shall is entitled to appoint or elect from among the employees, and the Employer shall recognize, Shop Stewards in each of the Employer's operations. Shop Stewards. (a) There shall be Shop Stewards appointed, if the Union wishes, to see that the provisions of this Agreement are adhered to.
(b) The Shop Stewards shall have no authority to alter, amend, violate, or otherwise change any part of this Agreement.
(c) The Employer will recognize the Shop Stewards selected in accordance with the Union rules and regulations as the representatives of the employees in the respective groups or departments for which they are chosen, and hereby recognizes that the power to appoint and removal thereof is solely vested with the Union. The number of Stewards will be consistent with the need.
(d) The Union shall appoint from among the employees, and will advise the Employer of the identity of all Shop Stewards.
(e) Stewards shall recognizereport to their immediate Supervisors and request permission, Shop Stewards in each which will not be unduly withheld, to leave the job to investigate complaints that may lead to grievances, or to handle the adjustment thereof, or to attend to any meeting with representatives of the Employer's operations, without loss of pay.
(f) Any employee being reprimanded shall have the right to request the presence of a Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. The duties of Employees who have difficulty with the English language or have a hearing impairment will have the right to have an interpreter present at the meeting with Management.
