Short-Term Public Bicycle Parking. Developer shall provide bicycle parking for short-term public use as shown on the Project Plans but no less than 10% of the long-term spaces required by Section 2.8.7(d)(3)(i). No more than 50% of the short-term bicycle parking may be provided in a vertical or hanging rack. Prior to ARB approval, the location and type of bike racks to be provided shall be submitted for review and approval by the City. The short-term bicycle parking spaces shall meet the following standard: For each bicycle parking space required a stationary, securely anchored object shall be provided to which a bicycle frame and one wheel can be secured with a high-security U-shaped shackle lock if both wheels are left on the bicycle. One such object may serve multiple bicycle parking spaces.
