Sick Leave Conversion to Vacation. Employees who have used less than forty (40) hours of sick leave in a fiscal year (i.e. pay period 15 through pay period 14 of the following year) may, at the employees option, convert sick leave to vacation leave on the following formula: Hours of sick leave used are subtracted from forty (40).
