Common use of Sick Leave In Conjunction With Vacation Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave In Conjunction With Vacation. An eligible Employee shall have the right to use sick leave credits while on vacation by substituting sick leave credits for vacation days for any applicable period of illness, injury, disability or other medical condition, providing the Employee produces a medical certificate from a medical practitioner of the Employee's choice stating the period during which the Employee was thus affected during his or her vacation. When such substitution occurs, the Employee shall have the number of his or her vacation days thus affected credited to his or her vacation entitlement.
