Sick Leave - Notice. In the event an employee needs to be absent from work, the employee shall inform his/her direct supervisor as soon as possible but no less than at least one (1) hour prior to their shift. If leave is submitted to the electronic absence management system with at least 24 hours advance notice, the employee need not provide additional notice to his/her direct supervisor.
