Sick Leave/Other Policies. 12.7.1 Each employee shall be responsible for notifying the immediate supervisor of the cause of absence at the beginning of any period of sick leave. 12.7.2 The District may require medical written verification of the need for an absence exceeding three (3) days as permitted by law, and may require verification that an employee is medically qualified to return to work following an absence.
