Sick Leave Payouts on Death of an Employee. A. Employees Hired Prior to July 1, 1996: In the event of an employee's death, his spouse, and/or children, shall receive, on the basis of the employee's current salary, payment for any of the employee's unused, accumulated sick leave up to one hundred and five (105) days.
