Where an Employee has an RDO accrual of greater than 40 hours, the relevant Director (or their nominee) may direct the Employee to take such surplus RDO leave at a particular time having regard to operational requirements or authorise payment of surplus RDO leave prior to 30 June each year.

Where an Employee who has accepted an offer of a VSP dies before separating or before payment of the separation package, payment of the Employee's separation package will be made in the same manner as other outstanding payments to the Employee's estate (eg Long Service Leave) .   • Affiliated employee means any individual employed by a recipient who receives compensation directly from government assistance or a contract with the District of Columbia government, including any employee of a contractor or subcontractor of a recipient who performs services pursuant to government assistance or a contract. The term “affiliated employee” does not include those individuals who perform only intermittent or incidental services with respect to the government assistance or contract, or who are otherwise employed by the contractor, recipient or subcontractor.

  • Continuous Status as an Employee means the absence of any interruption or termination of service as an Employee. Continuous Status as an Employee shall not be considered interrupted in the case of a leave of absence agreed to in writing by the Company, provided that such leave is for a period of not more than 90 days or reemployment upon the expiration of such leave is guaranteed by contract or statute.

  • Former Employee means an individual who has severed employment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer.

  • Prospective employee means an assessed individual who is anticipated to be hired upon completion of training.

  • Other employee means an individual employed by a primary owner who is not authorized to provide proposition player services. “Other employee” does not include any owner, any supervisor, or any officer or director of a primary owner that is a corporation. An individual registered or licensed as an “other employee” may not function as a player unless and until that individual applies for and obtains registration or licensure as a player.

  • Probationary Employee means an employee who has not yet successfully completed the probationary period on initial appointment.

  • Permanent Employee means an employee in the classified service who has successfully completed a probationary period.

  • Related Company means any entity that is directly or indirectly controlled by, in control of or under common control with the Company.

  • Service employee, means any person engaged in the performance of this contract other than any person employed in a bona fide executive, administrative, or professional capacity, as these terms are defined in Part 541 of Title 29, Code of Federal Regulations, as revised. It includes all such persons regardless of any contractual relationship that may be alleged to exist between a Contractor or subcontractor and such persons.

  • Non-Key Employee means any Employee who is not a Key Employee.

  • Company Employee means any current or former employee, independent contractor or director of the Company or any Company Affiliate.
